des photos toujours dans le bon sens

J’utilise Gallery pour mon photoblog et igal quand j’ai besoin de juste créer une page dédiée en retaillant mes photos (cf post de 2006 ! : https://sdubois.fr/blog/2006/03/07/manipulation-dimage-avec-convert-dimagemagick/ )
Le soucis qu’il me restait était de mettre automatiquement à l’endroit mes photos numériques uploadées de mon APN.
Je maîtrise Gqview et le bouton droit de la souris mais j’ai enfin trouvé le petit outil en ligne de commande qui me manquait !!

Using the ‘Orientation’ tag of the Exif header, rotate the image
so that it is upright. The program jpegtran is used to perform
the rotation. This program is present in most Linux distribu‐
tions. For windows, you need to get a copy of it. After rota‐
tion, the orientation tag of the Exif header is set to ‘1’ (nor‐
mal orientation). The thumbnail is also rotated. Other fields
of the Exif header, including dimensions are untouched, but the
JPEG height/width are adjusted. This feature is especially use‐
ful with newer Canon cameras, that set the orientation tag auto‐
matically using a gravity sensor.

Dans votre répertoire de photo, un petit jhead -autorot *.JPG et vous voilà avec des images dans le bon sens !!
